About
Hi, I'm Dan. I build software and websites for a living and for fun, which means the line between work and hobby went missing somewhere over the Atlantic. I'm based in Berlin now and plan to stay; it's home, even if Southern California is still where I spend some of my time.
Most of my work lives in Python and Django, with a healthy obsession for clean architecture, good tooling, the occasional well-placed keyboard shortcut, and an unapologetic soft spot for macOS, iOS, and all things Apple. I also run a small software company here in Berlin, which keeps things interesting. When I'm not at a terminal, I'm usually thinking about aviation, motorcycles, or where to travel next. I'm closing in on a hundred countries visited.
